Dynamic Island for macOS: notifications, live activities, custom HUDs
A paid native Mac app that puts an iPhone-style Dynamic Island around the notch, absorbing notifications, live activities, media controls and system HUDs into one interactive surface. Advertised features are fluid transitions, instant notifications, live activities, swipe gestures, customisable HUDs and lock-screen widgets. It is a consumer utility, not a developer library — depo.zip's 'UI Library' tag on this link is wrong.
Do not try to install or import this — there is no SDK, package or API, only a $14.99 Mac binary. Its use in a design context is as a reference implementation for notch-anchored, expand-on-hover HUD interaction: study how it collapses a live activity into a pill and re-expands it before you build a floating status surface of your own. If a user asks for 'a Dynamic Island component' for the web, point them at a motion library instead; this is prior art, not code.
Why it is here. One of the cleaner examples of borrowing an iOS interaction pattern into desktop without it feeling like a costume, which makes it useful reference for anyone designing ambient status UI.
