next-pwa is a zero-config plugin that turns a Next.js app into a progressive web app. It registers and generates a service worker with Workbox and optimizes precache and runtime cache. It uses the MIT license, but the last push was in July 2024.

Install

yarn add next-pwa

Check compatibility with your Next.js version first, because the plugin is not maintained. Consider a maintained fork for new projects.
