Open-source, Pusher-compatible WebSockets server
soketi is an open-source WebSockets server that is compatible with the Pusher protocol, so existing Pusher clients work with it. It uses the AGPL-3.0 license and has about 5,600 GitHub stars. The last push to the repository was in March 2025. The automated check failed, but a manual request on 2026-10-09 returned HTTP 200.
Use it to self-host realtime features that use the Pusher protocol. Check the update pace before you rely on it.
