UI Layouts is a component library and a code distribution platform in one. The free half is MIT and open, built with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and modern React patterns, and it supports Next.js, Vite, Remix and Astro. It ships a command-line tool to install and manage components, a components.json configuration file and a registry system for publishing code, which is the shadcn model rather than a copy-paste page. The documentation states five principles: Open Code, Composition, Distribution, Beautiful Defaults and AI-Ready. The navigation carries Components, Blocks and MCP. The paid half sits at pro.ui-layouts.com. It states 200 blocks, more than 10 templates and a drag-and-drop template builder that exports production-ready code. Read /llms-full.txt, not /llms.txt. The short file names the canonical host and then points at the extended index, which is the one that carries the component list. Install through the CLI and the registry. The docs cover the CLI, components.json and theming, so an agent configures the project once and then adds components by name. Draw the line at the paywall before you promise anything. The components are MIT and free. The 200 blocks, the templates and the builder are not, and the landing page states no price, so never quote one.

Why it is here. Most free registries stop at the primitive layer, and most block libraries are paid from the first click. This one gives away a real MIT component set with a working CLI and keeps the paywall at the block and template layer.
