Free, open-source virtual machines for Mac with Apple Hypervisor and emulation
UTM runs Windows, Linux, and other operating systems on a Mac. It uses the Apple Hypervisor framework to run ARM64 systems at near-native speed on Apple Silicon, and emulation for other architectures. It is a free download, also in the Mac App Store, uses the Apache 2.0 license, and has about 36,000 GitHub stars.
Use it to test a design in Windows or Linux browsers from a Mac. Take a snapshot of the virtual machine before you change it.
