dither-avatar makes a Vercel-style dithered SVG avatar from any seed string, such as a user name. The same seed always gives the same avatar. The core API returns SVG markup or a data URI in any JavaScript runtime, and a React component wraps it. The package has zero dependencies and a live playground.

Use it for placeholder avatars that stay stable across sessions without an image service. Check the license status first, because the repository has no license file.
