Its Hover is an open-source animated icon library for React, built on Motion (framer-motion) and shipped as a shadcn registry. Each icon is a self-contained component with a hover/tap animation, installed individually with the shadcn CLI so you only pull in what you use. The catalogue covers UI essentials, arrows, letters A-Z, brand and AI-vendor logos, crypto and currency marks, and status indicators. It is aimed at Next.js and shadcn/ui projects that want motion on icons without hand-writing keyframes.

For an agent

Reach for this instead of Lucide when an icon needs to animate on hover or state change and you do not want to own the Motion code — every item is one shadcn add away and depends only on `motion`, so it drops into an existing shadcn/ui project with no config. Install icons individually; there is no barrel package, so do not try `npm i itshover`. It ships no reduced-motion or ARIA story, so wrap the animation in a `prefers-reduced-motion` guard and add your own `aria-hidden`/label yourself.

Why it is here. It is the rare animated-icon set that is both large (263 registry items) and distributed the way agents actually install things — a public registry.json plus per-icon shadcn URLs.
