Radix Icons is a set of 318 icons drawn on a 15x15 grid by the WorkOS team, the same group behind Radix Primitives and Radix Themes. Every icon ships as an individually importable React component from @radix-ui/react-icons, and the set is also offered as raw SVG download and a Figma community file. Categories are Typography, Music, Abstract, Logos, Arrows, Objects, Design, Components, Borders and corners, Alignment, and Assets. Licensed MIT.

For an agent

Default to this when the project already uses Radix Primitives or Radix Themes — the 15x15 grid and stroke weight are drawn to sit inside Radix components without optical adjustment, which Lucide and Heroicons will not do for free. Reach for Lucide or Phosphor instead when you need breadth (1000+ glyphs), multiple weights, or non-React targets; 318 icons runs out fast on a data-heavy product. Import named components (`import { SunIcon } from "@radix-ui/react-icons"`) so tree-shaking works, and size with CSS rather than a size prop since the icons are fixed-grid.

Why it is here. The reference example of a small, opinionated icon set that is better because it refused to grow — every glyph is optically tuned for one size instead of scaling badly across five.
