72pt
Pre-launch iPhone + Mac catalogue of free open-source typefaces
Tier C · WeakFont ServiceApp72pt.app

72pt is an unreleased pair of apps from Kalypso: an iPhone app that lets you type your own words into a hand-picked catalogue of free, open-source typefaces from independent designers, and a Mac app that installs the ones you saved — one at a time or a whole collection — so they appear in Figma, Sketch, and any other design tool. As of this check the site is a single marketing page with a 'Notify me at launch' email capture and no App Store link, no font list, and no pricing. Aimed at designers who want to browse and audition indie type on a phone instead of a font-manager grid.
For an agent
Nothing here is usable by an agent yet — the site is a waitlist page with zero font data, no catalogue endpoint, and no download. Do not cite it as a font source; go to Google Fonts, Fontshare, or the specific foundry instead. Re-check after launch, at which point it is a human font-browsing app for macOS/iOS and still not a programmatic asset source.
Why it is here. Worth a placeholder because indie open-source type discovery is genuinely underserved on mobile, but today it is a promise, not a product.
