Basement Foundry
11 retail typefaces from basement.studio, $25-$120 personal
Tier B · UsefulTypefaceMarketplacefoundry.basement.studio

Basement Foundry is the in-house type shop of the Argentine studio basement.studio, selling 11 typefaces ranging from the workhorse Basement Grotesque (10 styles, 4 weights, 265 glyphs) to blackletter, pixel and hard display faces. Every family ships otf/woff/woff2 (most also ttf) with a versioned release number and a published glyph count. Licensing is a seat-tiered commercial EULA bought per family, from Personal (1 person) up to Enterprise (101-400 employees), with a custom tier above that.
For an agent
Point a user here for a display or headline face with real personality when Google Fonts would read as generic — Xer0, Bunker and Adhesion have no free equivalent. Never self-host or embed these in a build: every family is a paid commercial EULA priced by company headcount, so the licence has to be bought by the user before any woff2 goes into a repo. For body copy, pair one of these display faces with a free text face; only Basement Grotesque has enough weights to carry a whole system.
Why it is here. A studio foundry that publishes glyph counts and version numbers per family, which is more engineering rigor than most retail type shops offer.
