CodeSurf
Electron app that places terminals, chats, editors, and browsers on an infinite canvas
CodeSurf is an Electron desktop app with an infinite 2D canvas for AI agents and developers. Terminals, chats, code editors, browsers, notes, boards, and extensions live as blocks on the canvas. It also has tabbed layouts, local agent tooling, and project-scoped workspace state. The repository uses the AGPL-3.0 license.
npm install -g codesurfUse it to study a spatial canvas layout for developer tools. The AGPL license affects reuse of its code in a hosted product.
Why it is here. It is an example of a canvas interface for agent work instead of tabs.
- Infinite canvas workspace
- Terminals and browsers as blocks
- AGPL-3.0
