MetalForge
400+ shader effects for SwiftUI, React Native, and the web, tuned with sliders and exported as code
MetalForge is a gallery of 400+ shader effects and animations by Youssef (@sucodeee). You tune each effect with sliders and preview it live. Then you take the code as a Metal file for SwiftUI, a Skia shader for React Native, or a web component. On 2026-10-12, the gallery held 406 effects: 374 for SwiftUI, 332 for React Native, and 395 for the web. The groups include 3D, glass, backgrounds, orbs, logo and photo effects, components, buttons, loaders, and text effects. Every effect is free to preview and share by link, and the gallery has a Free filter with 20 effects. Pro unlocks the code for every effect and an MCP server in beta that adds effects to a project from an AI tool. The FAQ states that exports are yours to use in any project, including paid apps. MetalForge itself is not open source.
Use it to add a native shader effect to a SwiftUI or React Native app, or a web component effect to a site, without shader code. Tune the effect in the browser, then export the code for the target platform. With Pro, connect the MCP server so an AI tool can add an effect by name. Test the GPU cost on older phones, and give a static fallback for reduced motion settings.
Why it is here. It ships one shader look for three targets: SwiftUI Metal code, a React Native Skia shader, and a web component.
