Neobrutalism is a neo-brutalist React component system distributed as a shadcn registry — hard shadows, thick black borders, flat saturated colour. retroui.dev now 301-redirects to neobrutalism.com: the project rebranded from RetroUI and kept the same codebase and registry. The free tier is 60 open-source components covering the full Radix/Base UI primitive surface, installable through the shadcn CLI, with RTL and dark-mode variants and an MCP server so AI editors can search and install components directly. A paid Pro tier adds 158 production blocks, a Figma kit, a theme builder and 6 full-site templates.

This is the strongest neo-brutalist option available and the only one in this batch shipping an MCP server, so an agent can query and install components without scraping the docs — wire that up first. Note the URL history: retroui.dev and the old RetroUI name both still resolve, so treat retroui.dev, neobrutalism.com and 'RetroUI' as one product and always install from the neobrutalism.com registry.
