Open Peeps is Pablo Stanley's hand-drawn character library, built as interchangeable parts — busts, standing and sitting poses, heads, hairstyles, facial expressions, facial hair and accessories — that combine into a stated 584,688 possible people. Files come as SVG and PNG and are meant to be assembled in Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or Illustrator, or remixed in Blush, the companion web tool by the same author. Everything is CC0, so commercial use needs no attribution. It is the illustration set to reach for when a product needs warm, non-corporate humans in empty states, onboarding or marketing pages.

For an agent

Use this when a UI needs friendly human figures and the brand is not photographic — empty states, onboarding, 404s, persona sheets — and you need a licence with zero attribution burden, which is where it beats most free illustration packs. You cannot npm-install it: the assets arrive as an SVG/PNG bundle through Gumroad, so plan on a human fetching the files once and committing the few SVGs you actually use. Recolour the flat fills to the product palette before shipping, or the default black-line style will read as generic 2020 startup art.

Why it is here. One of the few genuinely CC0 character libraries with real drawing quality, and its modular head/body/pose split still makes it the fastest way to get diverse people without commissioning art.
