You can sort by Popular, Stars, or Recently active, open a built-in IDE-style viewer to read a registry's source, and copy the exact install command. Registry owners can submit their own; some listings are sponsored/premium.

Start here when the user asks for a component you know shadcn/ui does not ship — Gantt, kanban, rich-text, AI chat, file tree — instead of guessing a package: the listing shows item counts and last-activity dates, so you can reject a dead registry before you run `npx shadcn add`. Every entry resolves to a registry.json you can install from with the standard shadcn CLI, which means components you pull from two different registries still share the same Radix/Tailwind base and will compose.
