UNCUT.wtf is a curated catalogue of free and open-source typefaces made by Danish designer Kasper Nordkvist, launched in April 2021. Secondary sources put the collection at roughly 163 typefaces sorted into four classes — sans serif, serif, monospace and display — each with a direct link to the designer's own download. It aggregates rather than hosts, so the licence travels with each individual font and is not uniform across the catalogue. Note that the site now sits behind a proof-of-work bot check and could not be read directly during this pass.

Do not try to fetch this one — uncut.wtf returns 403 to a normal fetcher and 454 with a Simply.com SHA-256 proof-of-work JavaScript challenge to a browser-agent string, so an agent gets a challenge page and nothing else. Treat it as a bookmark you hand to a human for browsing, and use Velvetyne or Google Fonts when you need font files a script can download. If you do get a font name out of it, verify that specific font's licence at its own source before shipping, because 'free' here covers everything from OFL to plain freeware with terms attached.

Why it is here. It is the best-curated single view of contemporary free type — the place designers find the display face that does not look like a Google Fonts default. Its value is entirely editorial taste, which is also why it is worth nothing to an automated pipeline that cannot open it.
