Directory of 104 design tools, ranked by role and by facet scores
designtools.fyi compares design tools. The homepage says to find the right tool for your role, ranked by what matters, and the button reads "Browse all 104 tools". Cards on the page include Claude Code, Claude Design, Dessn, and Figma, each with a score. A control is labelled "Copy agent instructions". The about page says every tool is rated on facets from 1 to 10, and that archetypes reweight those scores. It uses a design engineer and a non-designer as examples of different priorities. When no archetype is selected, it says you see an unweighted average across the rated facets. No license was stated. The checked pages showed the directory without a sign-in or a price.
Start from the homepage when you need a ranked list of design tools for a role. The page said 104 tools on this check. The about page says each facet is scored from 1 to 10, and that an archetype reweights that average. With no archetype selected, it says the score is an unweighted average. The directory does not state a license for its text or scores. Copy agent instructions is a button on the page. This check did not record what that button copies.
Why it is here. It ranks design tools by role, and it puts the count and the scoring rule on the site.
Your agent can also search Index itself through the MCP server.
