Higgsfield is a hosted generative media platform aimed at marketing and short-form video: image generation to 4K, video clips up to 15 seconds, audio, an EditLayers editor, Cinema Studio 4.0 for cinematic shots, a Marketing Studio with 1500+ presets, and Soul character training for consistent people across shots. It fronts 30+ models including Soul 2.0, Seedance 2.5 and 2.0, Kling 3, Veo, Flux, Seedream 5.0 Lite, Minimax Hailuo, GPT Image 2, Google Omni Flash and Nano Banana Pro. Its distinguishing move is the agent surface: a hosted MCP server at mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp that needs no API key, a global npm CLI, and three installable skills (Generate, Soul, Product Photoshoot) that spend your existing plan credits from inside a coding agent.

Connect this as an MCP connector (https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp, OAuth sign-in, no API key) when you need generated stills or short clips inside a build — product shots, hero imagery, 15-second social cuts — and install the skills with `npx skills add higgsfield-ai/skills` so /higgsfield:generate, :soul and :product-photoshoot are addressable. Use Soul character training once and reuse the trained identity rather than re-prompting for consistency; it is a fixed credit cost and re-rolling is what burns a plan. Two cautions: pricing and tier names have churned repeatedly through 2026 so never hardcode a plan assumption, and the marketing site is a JS-heavy shell where /pricing returns no readable content to a fetcher — read /mcp and /cli instead.

Why it is here. Alongside Krea it is one of only two generative suites that treat a coding agent as a first-class client, with a free hosted MCP plus a CLI plus published skills rather than a locked web UI.

Free tier ~150 credits/month. Paid tiers were renamed during 2026 from Basic/Pro/Ultimate/Creator to Starter (~$15/mo annual, ~200 credits), Plus (~$39/mo annual, ~1,000 credits, all models), Ultra (~$99/mo annual, ~3,000+ credits) and Business. Top-up credit packs run about $5 per 100 credits and reportedly expire after 90 days. Higgsfield has changed tier names, prices and the meaning of 'unlimited' several times in 2026 — treat any figure here as needing re-verification.
