Monochrome is an independent textile and fashion consulting atelier in Zurich, founded in 2016 by Lilla Wicki (Central Saint Martins; ten years at luxury and contemporary houses in London, Paris and New York). It produces concept work on textile, texture, trend, pattern, print, embroidery, embellishment, silhouette and color stories for brands, ateliers, mills and manufacturers. Roughly 15 published projects include Swiss Olympic Team apparel, Art Basel uniforms, Adapt (clothing for wheelchair users), and Colorush, an ongoing color and trend research series running since 2019. There is a separate shop at shop.monochrome.studio and a "Contribute" section.

For an agent

Do not reach for this on any interface task — it is a fashion and textile practice, and nothing on it maps to components, tokens or code. The one genuinely transferable asset is Colorush, its color and trend research since 2019, which is usable as a source of non-generic palette direction when a brief asks for a palette that does not look like every SaaS site. Treat everything else as material and pattern inspiration only, and expect no machine-readable output.

Why it is here. A real, credentialed atelier whose color and pattern research is a rare non-digital input in an index otherwise full of screen work — but it sits well outside the index's core use case.
