An in-browser editor lets you change the accent colour, toggle the background between Hidden, Simple and Detailed, edit layers, and animate the scene before exporting SVG or PNG; a Figma plugin mirrors the same catalogue. Free use requires crediting Storyset; the terms route unattributed and commercial-heavy use to a paid Freepik/Flaticon Premium subscription. It suits teams that want illustrations with motion and a consistent house style across a whole product.

Choose Storyset over unDraw only when you specifically need motion — the animate step and the five consistent styles are the reason it exists — and accept that you owe a visible credit line, which is a real product decision, not a formality. There is no API, no npm package and no bulk export: the pipeline is a human in the browser editor exporting SVG or PNG, or the Figma plugin, so do not plan an automated asset step around it. The terms are also genuinely ambiguous about where free-with-credit ends and Freepik Premium begins, so flag the licence question to the user before shipping Storyset art in a commercial product.
