The Gridcn is a Tron-inspired theme system and component registry for shadcn/ui, built by Edu Calvo. Its registry ships 140 installable items: the full set of restyled shadcn primitives plus roughly 90 sci-fi originals — HUD frames, radar, reticle, identity disc, boot sequence, CRT effect, circuit background, grid floor, energy meters, coordinate and location displays, waveforms and data streams. Six named colour schemes (Tron, Ares, Clu, Athena, Aphrodite, Poseidon) swap the neon accent. Three.js powers the 3D grid pieces; everything else is React and Tailwind.

For an agent

Reach for this when the product wants a command-centre or sci-fi console feel — telemetry dashboards, monitoring tools, crypto and trading UIs, game companion apps. It is the only registry here that ships genuine HUD furniture (hud-corner-frame, radar, reticle, gauge, energy-meter, boot-sequence, data-stream) alongside real shadcn primitives, so you can build the whole screen from one namespace instead of hand-rolling the chrome. Two cautions: the 3D pieces pull in Three.js and are heavy, and the CRT/glow/scanline effects have no obvious reduced-motion story, so gate them behind a preference check yourself.

Why it is here. A themed registry that goes past recolouring — the ninety-odd sci-fi originals are a genuinely new component vocabulary, and the six Greek-god palettes make it a theme system rather than a single look.
