Awwwards judges submitted websites and gives out Site of the Day, Site of the Month, Site of the Year, Honorable Mention and Developer awards. The /websites/ archive is the useful part for build work: every entry is tagged by industry category (31 of them, from Portfolio and E-commerce to Experimental and Real Estate), by style tag (Parallax, Microinteractions, Horizontal Layout, Infinite Scroll and about 45 more), and by the technology that built it (over 110 tags including Three.js, GSAP, Webflow, Framer, Next.js, Locomotive Scroll, Lottie and WebGL). Around it sit a Directory of 6,064 agencies and professionals, an Academy of paid courses, a Market of paid templates and assets, plus Jobs, Blog and Conferences.

Use the technology filter, not the front page — /websites/?tech=gsap or ?tech=threejs is the fastest way to find real, shipped examples of a specific stack, and each entry names its full tool chain, which is rare. Be aware of the bias: this archive rewards award-bait marketing sites with heavy WebGL, custom cursors and scroll hijacking, so it is a poor reference for dense product UI, dashboards or accessibility work. Pair it with a screen gallery (Mobbin, Godly) for product surfaces, and never quote an Awwwards site as an accessibility precedent.

Why it is here. It is the longest-running juried gallery of high-craft web work, and its per-entry technology tagging turns it into a searchable index of which stack produced which effect.
