Anthropic's design surface: prompt to prototype, deck or one-pager, exports PPTX/PDF/HTML
Claude Design is Anthropic's in-beta visual creation product, sitting alongside Claude Code, Cowork, Science and Security. You describe a prototype, wireframe, deck, one-pager or piece of marketing collateral and Claude produces a first draft you then refine with fine-grained editing controls. It can import a design system from a GitHub repo, a design file or a codebase so output holds a brand, and it exports to PPTX, PDF and HTML or hands off to Claude Code, Adobe, Canva, Gamma, Lovable, Miro, Replit, Vercel and Wix.
This is a human-facing product, not something you can call — there is no API, CLI or MCP surface, so do not plan a pipeline around it. Its relevance to you is the handoff direction: a user who built a look in Claude Design can export HTML or push the work to Claude Code, and it ingests a design system from a GitHub repo, so the highest-leverage thing you can do is make that repo legible — a clear DESIGN.md, exported tokens, a components index. Treat anything it produces as a first draft with beta-grade fidelity, and expect the shared usage cap to be consumed by whichever surface the user touched last.
