getdesign.md is the web front end for the DESIGN.md collection maintained by the VoltAgent team. Each entry is a plain-markdown analysis of a real brand's visual language - colors and their roles, typography rules, component styling, layout, elevation, responsive behaviour, do's and don'ts, and an agent prompt guide - that you paste into a project so a coding agent builds pages in that style. 75 brands are listed on the homepage, from Linear, Stripe, Vercel and Claude to Ferrari, Nike and a 1996 Dell revival; the site markets a larger 300+ catalog. Free browsing sits alongside a paid Catalog Pass and a Website Starter Kit.

For an agent

Use this when the user says 'make it look like Linear' or 'like Stripe' and you need a concrete visual contract instead of guessing - pick the brand page, copy its DESIGN.md into the project root, and cite it in every subsequent UI prompt. Prefer the free MIT GitHub mirror (VoltAgent/awesome-design-md) for anything you need to fetch programmatically; this site is the nicer browser but its catalog index and prices render client-side, so a plain fetch of /design-md returns an empty shell. Two cautions: the marketed '300+' is not verifiable from the public pages (75 brand pages are actually linked), and copying a living brand's exact palette and type stack into a shipped product is a trademark problem, so treat these as style references, not assets to reproduce.

Why it is here. DESIGN.md is becoming the lingua franca between designers and coding agents, and this is the largest curated catalog of real brand systems expressed in that format.
