Layers is a community rather than a curated gallery. Designers post work, and the site sorts it as Hot, All and Recent under an Explore view. Its own description reads: explore the latest design layers from the community. A job board sits beside the feed, along with a list of recent sign-ups and a follow model, so the shape is closer to a social platform than to an archive. That is the trade. A curated gallery gives you a standard and a community gives you volume and recency. Layers is the second kind. Most of it sits behind a login. The served page is 42 KB and largely a shell, and /llms.txt returns the same body as a nonsense path, so no agent file exists.
For an agent
Expect a login. The front page shows a shell with Log in and Join controls, and the feed sits behind them, so an agent gets almost nothing from a fetch. Use it for recency, not for a standard. It is a community feed sorted by Hot and Recent, so it shows what designers posted this week rather than what survived an edit. Do not record an llms.txt for it. The path answers with the same body as a nonsense path, which is a catch-all.
Why it is here. A community feed shows what designers are making now, before a curator picks. That is a different signal from the edited galleries that fill most of this corpus.
