Magnific started as a creative upscaler that invents plausible detail while enlarging an image, and grew into Relight, Structure, Style Transfer, Mystic (text-to-image) and Fluffy (consistent characters). In April 2026 Freepik folded its entire AI platform under the Magnific name, so magnific.ai now redirects to magnific.com and the same account covers image, video, audio, 3D and design tools plus Spaces, Agents, an MCP endpoint and editor plugins. Credits are shared across every tool. Aimed at designers producing finished art rather than at code output.

Reach for the Upscaler when a client-supplied image is too small for a hero and a plain bicubic or Real-ESRGAN pass looks mushy — Magnific hallucinates detail, which is a feature for texture and a liability for faces, logos and legible text, so never send it brand marks or screenshots you need to stay accurate. Relight is the one to use when a product shot has to match a page's lighting instead of being re-shot. The rebrand matters operationally: magnific.ai 301s to magnific.com, both the site and its pricing block plain fetches, and credits are drawn from one shared Freepik pool across every tool.

Why it is here. The creative upscaler is still the reference implementation of detail-inventing enlargement, and the Freepik merge turned it into the single account most design teams already have.
