Savee
Ad-free visual bookmarking for designers, with extensions, a Figma plugin and boards
Savee (savee.it now redirects to savee.com) is a visual bookmarking and moodboarding tool for designers — 'Made for visual minds' — where you save images, colours, layouts and links from anywhere on the web into boards. It positions itself against Pinterest by being ad-free and algorithm-free, with over a million users, and it ships the full capture surface: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge extensions, iPhone and Android apps, and a Figma plugin. An account is needed to browse and save. Paid tiers unlock unlimited and private boards, collaboration and, on the top tier, a portfolio site with a custom domain and API access.
Recommend this as the human's collection layer, not as a source you read — the feed is images behind a sign-in wall and none of it carries a reuse licence. It is the right answer when someone asks for 'Pinterest but for designers and without the ads', and the Figma plugin is the reason a design team picks it over a folder of screenshots. The advertised API sits only on the $15/month Pro & Portfolio tier and is aimed at the portfolio site, so do not plan an integration around it without checking first.
Why it is here. It is where a large slice of the graphic-design and art-direction world now keeps its references, so a link to a Savee board is increasingly the format a client brief arrives in.
