  1. 01Show action near item collection — placed above or beside the collection it affects, with a recognisable icon and/or label
  2. 02Show available filter options — on the same page for immediate feedback, or on another page
  3. 03Consider different filter types — a multi-select picker is standard, but some properties benefit from a range, date or toggle control
  4. 04Show active filters clearly when applied — display which filters are currently applied on the collection page
  5. 05Provide easy filter removal — clear individual filters or all filters at once
  6. 06Show result count — where it is meaningful for users to see how far the result set has narrowed
  7. 07Empty state — a filter combination can produce no results; explain it and suggest adjusting or clearing filters
